Play like champions!

When Russia was dominating the sport of Ice-hockey,Herb came to coach U.S. team and he didnt tell his team to win, he just told them," We win,we loose,we tie but we play like champions" and difference was made by the U.S team.They played like champions and emerged as winners and Herb spotted his place forever in the history of ice-hockey.
India is eliminated from T20 world-cup2010 because India has its own motto-"we loose,we loose,we loose, but we never play like champions.Lost to Australia,west Indies and then finally to Sri Lanka.We loose and its common in every game but the way they played.One thing for sure,Indian team is not a champion and they dont deserve to be in the last four.
The strategy and planning should be done before the start of tournament, you can't afford to decide it in the mid-way of mega events.Guys, its not IPL where you can experiment, it is World cup and the way you played is stunning and upset to every cricket lover.There can be one or two flaws,but theses many flaws in a mega-tournament.What a shame!

Every thing had went wrong, right from selection of team , strategies and execution. It seemed that skipper didnt know his player's weakness and strengths.Whats the need of Ravindra Jadeja in team,when you have these many spin options in team and Ravindra Jadeja has never batted like a champion for India and Guys ,you played in West Indies not in India. Only 2 seamers against Australia. Who has taken this decision? It really paid .Yes boss, you paid the price and Guys,its important to take early wickets and Harbhajan comes to bowl in power play and restricts him to stop runs.Whats this?

Vinay kumar came into the team in the last game and this young lad proved that he is the right option and Dhoniji,you dont know about him and for him,you dropped Zaheer and Nehraji, the greatest fileder Indian team ever had and Guys,I cant blame anyone,its a team-effort.You played with unity to loose.I am not cynical because I loved the way your great performances under over-confident skipper.

I love the way Srilanka played in the last game.They proved that , they deserve to be in the last four and I always love Srilanka and last time I wished Srilankas to win the world cup but it didnt happen .This time,mighty Austalians being in race,its hard for every other team but I hope Srilanka will end on a high note.

Team India,learn to pull the ball and learn to bowl confidently and my dear selectors , cant you get 4 lethal seamers in the entire nation and its really shame and the way spinners bowling is good but its not upto the standarda that you can rely this much on spinners and Dhoni ji,Know about your team before you enter into big-tourneys.You know ,3 sixes of he 5 biggest sixes has been hit against India and introspect.You can play for money in IPL but you should play for pride also and decide yourself,whether you are really worthy to wear Team-India cap.Intropect,introspect and introspect and dont make us think that you are a luck-fluke.

Every one knows ,its a dejected team now but still everyone knows that this team can win and please introspect and introspect

Kasab's case-a learning note

               Today morning I was greeted with the news "Death for Kasab - He's a lingering to society,has no chance of reform". I am one who is always against the capital punishment but this time its different as I am happy with the verdict.

               Kasab is not the main culprit because he is just a gun but shooters are some one else, who are unnoticed yet(???) and Kasab may be a weapon used for  this entire high-drama which killed 166 in Mumbai attacks but this verdict is much needed.Indian legal system, in spite of several varied emotions able to give verdict in less time and more over it didn't act with vengeance.It approached legally and solved the case in a legal, constitutional manner.

             Its good that this verdict will be a warning for the terrorists who try to attack on India but at the same time we shouldn't forget the facts that in the last 4 years,India after Iraq  suffered from higher number of terrorist attacks and in last 26 years the more number of terrorist victims( deaths) are Indians.Terrorism in any form should not be spared especially in India which paid a huge price but hanging Kasab can be the final solution?

          Indian people and political parties should not see this aspect from the point of vengeance and should take this a chance to completely eradicate terrorism.Once again, I stress on Y.K.Sabrawal and co's judgment on January 11,2007 which advised to form a civilian division in Police system and Kiran Bedi insists it as a Gandhian way of policing( I already made it a point in my earlier post http://aravind4588.blogspot.com/2009/11/2611.html) . Terrorism should be stopped at any cost and attacks like Mumbai attacks should be prevented at any cost.

          Every one knows that without the help of Indian citizens, terrorists cant plan everything in such a lethal manner then why Indians want to kill their fellow citizens? because the persons who are helping have been discriminated on the basis of their birth or something other. Every child born should get quality education,health facilities then both external and internal form of terrorism can be wiped out for ever. Vote-bank politics should not hinder this process.Dignity of lives as a prime-factor should be recognized for ever and we should learn that a learned,literate child and individual can shout "India,I,Care" understanding its meaning.

           Whatever I wish,still I grasp that Kasab will not be hanged immediately as he can go for mercy petition and other options like appealing in high court .Whatever the final punishment be,I wish the process to go in transparent and constitutional way as it is up to now .Emotions shouldn't play a role in this even though I understand the grieve of people who suffered because of attacks and who has undergone major losses , still I remember the face of Sandeep Unnikirshan but India is a democratic nation with Autonomous legal system and these affairs should be left to courts and president.

              On personal note,even though I believe in ahimsha ,I want to see Kasab hanged immediately not because it gives soothing effect to suffered families but it can become a warning to terrorist elements and it can be a foundation for strengthening our anti-terrorism steps.

Long way to go and I trust Indian people and politicians will realize the need to safeguard our own people through longterm vision and measures because terrorism in any form should not be spared

Stop Voyeurism!

There are certain things , where reaction indeed is not needed but we over-react and give great importance to trivial things. From the last few days,media didn't concentrate much on Right to Education act or reappeared women empowerment bill.From them and the people, the burning issue is Sania Mirza and shoaib Malik.

Last day, one friend showed me an orkut community of Sania Mirza and it is flooded with obscene curses and one person has described Sania as the biggest traitor.Today,I heard that a Pakistani has written," Sania babhi zindabad".

The thing is not about looking into facts, it is about our unclear thinking process.Sania is a world class tennis player representing India and it doesn't mean that she should not have any personal life.Even though she marry Shoaib, she represents India only and it hardly matters if she doesn't. Its her choice in life, whom to marry and whom not to? and I know there would not be any problem if she married an American or English.She is marrying a Pakistani and that to the person,whom we have cursed while playing a cricket match with India.Isnt it?

Its time to treat Pakistanis as our brothers and we have to co-exist if we intent to make any progress.Never people are bad on both the sides.Its because of a few political and geographical reasons, tensions has been created and its time to repair them.One way,I appreciate Sania foe choosing a Pakistani partner.Of course,I firmly believe its her personal issue.Media and public should stop their voyeurism

Everything is fine and what if the story of Ayesha is true? We should remember that India has an independent justice system and the family of Ayesha is also rich enough to give their best in legal battle.If he is proved guilty,, he should be punished and there can be no objections even

                 My name is Aravind and I am a mediocre. 

            Recently, I heard a few comments and its good to hear  and I really appreciate your feedback and by default, I should agree that I really write bad English and when I write my thoughts, I wont think of English, grammar etc., etc., and it adds more to my bad English.Its a weakness and I should definitely work  on it. Till the date, I never edited any blog once posted and it keeps some silly mistakes open to all( even spelling and type errors) and I really need to change this habit and I shall. When I write the blogs based on facts like Telangana-past, present and future., the mistakes are less evident and it happens because I really go through every sentence at least thrice before posting that( because in these type of blogs, every line should be justified and I feel, these posts are more obligated to society)

             Secondly, someone  advised me to write cool blogs  leaving hot topics like Telangana, national problems and all that and its really a good advice and I thought about it. Some days before,I have planned to write a big fiction-Love and lust.After preparing everything like story content, back ground, did research and also did some adventures.After that I thought again about the message I'm giving to people and I stopped writing that.I really believe that writings are obligated to society and my inner consciousness didn't allow me to post that. This is also the reason for not writing the continuation of " The Call girl"

             I love writing fictions and I really like getting comments on them(I can never forget the comments I received for 'Going to die' and 'Love' and people never responded much to my article-type blogs   and I understand the things behind that and I will write good fictions again and I ll write cool blogs.

           Its more than 3 years. A friend called me 'dheela'( by the way, the person didn't call me like that and it was a misunderstanding) and then I had written my first blog "My first date was a Muslim" the story depicting the life of a dheela and the story continued and now, I completed writing 25 blogs and its not a good figure but many times I kept drafts with out posting them because of different reasons.

          I try to avoid writing personal issues but I did once/twice to thank people as I was unable to thank them personally and I heard that not writing personal issues is a draw-back and some one told me that cool blogs can be possible by your comments on your own personal life and it may be true but it will be difficult for me to write in that manner.

         Leaving this chit-pat, blog-blag issues aside.I m really enjoying my life now.Enjoying the warmth of many people and really getting good advices from people and guys(of course gals too), I really need your advices and keep this tempo all the time. I completed my degree and Dr.Aravind seems awkward to me and I still doubt whether I can do justice to my profession/not and I pray the divinity to show me the way of exit from this field.

         Mean while,I met some wonderful people and I really enjoyed talking to them and my trust on the people is growing big every day and I believe some of these wonderful persons will become change agents and make a lot of difference. 

         Hey, one more issue, before few days I have written that Women empowerment bill is going to curb unemployment among women making them legislators  and I was just joking and I didn't expect that people will take it serious.I really appreciate women empowerment bill and its the need of the day but it has certain flaws which should have been avoided, of course, flawed bill is better than no bill.

        This post is a rambling and I thought to communicate these things and I am really thankful to all of you for taking pain to give me pleasure...

Telangana-past,present and future

Democracy means 'people's power’. People’s power indicates people are the rulers and people are not sufferers. How can people be peaceful if the rail-rokhos, rastha-rokho's continues? Democracy always encourages debate and discussion but it does not encourage the sufferings of people. In a nation, where 37% people are below poverty line, any 'bandh' type activity leads to suffering of people only. Democracy insists on solving problems through peaceful talks, but not through inappropriate actions which makes people suffer and die even. What happening now on the issue of Telangana is quite undemocratic and unscrupulous?

The way I try to put forward the things in this blog are most important as it speaks about the survival of this nation. Some where, it may seem that I'm ambiguous or trying to articulate two opposite versions but I'm trying to bring a few facts to the notice of my fellow youngsters and I want to leave conclusion unprovoked, which should be drawn by you but I do provide my opinion.

On 17 September, 1948. Telangana was freed from Nizam rule and it has been included in our nation and it had been a separate state for 8 years then on. On 1953, Andhra was separated from Tamilnadu on the basis of language or a few say, Telugu people had been treated as a 'step sons' by Tamilians .From then on (1953)'Visalandhra movement, for forming a state including Telangana was on board and at that time Jawaharlal Nehru said (on 2oct, 1953),"....Visalndhra is an idea bearing a point of expansionist imperialism." State reorganization Committee, 1956 opinionated,".....it will be in the interest of Telangana if, for the present the Telangana area is constituted into a separate state."

Both the leaders of Andhra and Telangana before forming Andhra Pradesh combining both the regions entered Gentle Men's agreement,1956 which insisted on forming regional standing committee, provision of domicile rule like reserving the income from Telangana for regional development etc.,On 1 Novemeber,1956 Andhra Pradesh emerged.

A few facts and figures indicate that Krishna and Godavari ,major rivers of India are flowing from Telangana but net utilization of Telangana from these rivers are very less even though the population of Telangana is half of Andhra Pradesh. Utilization systems has not been developed after 61 years of independence .A survey says that irrigation was possible in 20 lakh acres from surface water on 1956 and it has been reduced to 12 lakh acres on 2006.Bachawat Tribunal,1976 stated," .......had been no merger of the states there were better chances for this area to get irrigational facilities.

I brought history to your notice as ignorance breeds distrust and what we don’t know we tend not to trust. Turning the coin upside down, the Telangana issue is again on board making the common man's life more miserable and satisfying a few politicians’ satiety for demagoguery.

Above stated facts prove Telangana to be a backward area but its backwardness is no different from any other region in India. In India, all programmees (IRDP, NREGA etc.,) fund release is based on population, there is no region-wise discrimination wise but our delivery systems are so weak that released funds never reach people intact or in the words of Rajiv Gandhi that only 19 paisa reach the target of every rupee spent .Now the history of Telangana no more holds as backwardness is a saga of many regions in India.

Telangana is a backward region. No one can deny this fact but I want to state a few more facts. Telangana is the first non-coastal region which wants a separate state status in India and second, it wants to get separated with capital, which has been one of the major hubs of Indian economy.

Telangana is no more a problem of a single state. It problem of this nation as Hyderabad can take back the Indian economy to certain minimal levels and second, many movements of this kind may prelude Telanagana movement which definitely troubles the sovergeinity of India.

No nation or society is perfect. We have to make it a better place to live in .Belgium has only 2 languages, still they fight brutally for separate entities and India has 18 recognized languages and many more disparities. How can we expect the nation's survival with out problems? But problems should b solved through dialogue in Democracy.

A separate state can never be the panacea and some times it may lead to a few more institutional problems. If separate state formations bring development with them, why Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh are still in the top of India's abject poverty (Recent Suresh Tendulkar's commission reports Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, M.P, Chhattisgarh are most-suffering states)

If backhandedness is the reason, ask for development, better governance, and corruption-free, literate society but don’t breed regional wars as it is barbarianism. If the biggest state in south India can’t rest in peace, how can India rests in peace?

In 2 elections of 2004 and 2009, political parties have played a bluff-game hurting the sentiments of people and one way, traditional political parties play bluff-game in entire India and actually, it has to be a quarrel between bad politics and people but our people, unable to understand fights among themselves in the name of region,religion,language,caste or whatever provoked by demagogues.

If a state named 'Telan'gana is formed, then also there will be no problem to common man as they are not asking for the separate nation and the land won't go to another nation and our focus should be on development of entire India and nation-making, not on forming separate states or keeping states intact.

History is what we inherit. The future is what we make of it. In case of Telangana, the short term objectives should be addressed and politicians should remember that history is an unbiased judge and after a few years, they will be blamed for their demagoguery. The problems should not be subsided. Strong agreement should be made and a perfect development plan should be sketched and backward regions in entire nation should be identified.

In long term, the ruling power should be kept in the hands of common man, who will face the consequences of his action. Transparency act should be enacted in the entire nation with instant justice. No one in this nation should be denied of dignity, justice or opportunities and for that leadership of strong ideas and execution should be enforced and this is only possible through principle politics with utmost values and this nation's youngsters can only make that happen.

Telangana issue is on board only because of denied dignity and in the coming years, many movements of this type may welcome us if conditions are kept untreated, so better act in a proper way providing ample opportunities, unbiased justice to all Indians and solution in a single sentence is-"Kill the hypocrisy and bring the real democracy".
